The Winner of the Caribbean 600 is Chim Chim Wizard

Peter Askew and David from the 70th American Volvo Wizard have triumphed the 2019 RORC Carribean trophy 600 making the finest time according to IRC. For completing a non-stop race of 600 miles, Wizard puts in an almost faultless show and completed the race in the time period of 43 hours and at some time.

David Askew, said, “This happened for the first time that we have won this race. Winning this race was beyond our dreams and we can say the wildest possible dreams that we saw.

‘It Is Just Freedom’: How Users Of Wheelchair Are Setting Sail

The Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario (DSAO) is using a special fleet of companion volunteers and boats to help its members to experience the joy of being in the water and talking to it. Under the setting sun, the skipper eyed a marker floating in the harbor of Toronto and judged if his compact sailboat could get past on its present course.

It is too tight, he decided, and then he took a quick turn, exchanging the burgeoning skyline of city vista for the bucolic green of its harbor islands. After a few moments, he turned the boat again, squeak past the marker and they began running with the wind on the last leg of the race.

Jongert Sailing Yacht Azzura Sold

The 29.26 meter sailing yacht Azzura, listed for sale by Hank Halsted at Northrop and Johnson, has been sold by Dana Davidson at Davidson Yachts introducing the buyer.

Designed by Doug Peterson, she was built in aluminum to Lloyd’s class by the renowned Dutch yard Jongert and launched in 1998. Together with her tall cutter rig, slim-line freeboard and low-profile deckhouse, she offers outstanding performance combined with luxury and comfort throughout. An interior design by Peter Sijm sees the dining area in the calm, mahogany paneled saloon fitted with two C-shaped settee opposite each other, providing plenty of elbow room and keeping the conversation flowing. There is also a wet bar with individual stools to port.

Becker Relaxing On Yacht With Family

Boris Becker, the tennis player who has been retired now had gone through the surgery on his ankle to heal an injury of old sporting recently.

  • He is on holidays hobbling along with his patient wife, mother and son.
  • The player is taking the sun bath and watching wife taking dives in the water.

On his trip to Ibiza, Becker was spotted on crutches struggling to get around with his family, following the surgery for an old tennis injury.

However, the hard time of Becker is still not over and recently he was seen moving around a luxury yacht having taken to the waters with his son Amadeus Benedict Edley Luis and wife Lilly.

Once the tennis ace, was seen last at Wimbledon commentating before going off on his holiday, he was helped by a male companion to his feet, struggling with his injured leg brace.

On the yacht, Lily was seen taking a dive into the water, while Amadeus was seen sitting with his mother, doing nothing but just watching Lilly taking the swim. (more…)
